Better than VBS
Rather than offer VBS only mornings one week of the summer, we are providing families with an incredible resource called “Families Celebrate Summer.” This resource is packaged as a deck of cards. The cards are color coded into categories of faith-based activities, rituals, reflections and other ideas – all relevant, engaging, and easy for families to do together the whole summer long. To sweeten the pot, we have invited our families to share a story and picture of their family engaged in one of their chosen faith-based activities. In exchange, we will treat these families to Dairy Queen on us. We will share family stories with the congregation.
