We are continuing the food pantry emphasis of Cash Instead of Cans. Cash really allows our pantries to get way more food than if we were to give the cash equivalent in cans. That’s just how it is. We will never, however, stop collecting cans and boxes of food because it is 100% useful for the hungry.

And while we are talking about that, if you are from that demographic that shuts your place down for the winter and we will not see again until next year, consider emptying your cabin pantry into our gathering bins here at Church. Rather than worrying about rodents or freezing weather ruining what’s on your shelves, and rather than toting it all home, just bring it here
