The Gospel for this weekend is the Story of the Woman at the Well from JOHN. If one were to start a Church revival one would probably not say, “I think we should look for women who can’t stay married and who are rejected by their own community as our lead evangelists.” I dare you to find any strategic plan that says that. Yet that describes the very first evangelist outside of the disciples. How did Jesus turn the lowest caste of a woman into an evangelist? He treated her with dignity.
Let Us Pray: Father in Heaven, You made human life good and You blessed us with bodies, brains, hearts and souls. Help us to treat all who live with dignity and may we bring the best out of each other. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
