Adult Education These are small groups that meet for both education and fellowship.

Men’s Bible Group
The Men’s Bible Group meets at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday mornings for a light breakfast followed by a study. A variety of faith issues are addressed and diverse opinions are welcome. This is an opportunity for all men to increase their understanding of their faith.

First Lutheran Church Women
The women of our church express their faith in many venues including: an annual Scandinavian Dinner & Bake Sale, Funeral Committee, Cover Girls (quilts for Lutheran Disaster Relief), Purls of Prayer (prayer shawls), Card Making, women’s study and circles.

All are welcome to join one of these groups.
- Koinonia is a “fellowship” of women who meet Tuesday mornings at 8 am in the Community Room. After sharing a simple breakfast, discussion follows on various faith interests using DVDs and/or articles.
- Peace Circle meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 am in the Community Room at church. The circle uses the Bible study in the ELCA Women’s magazine, GATHER. It covers a variety of topics through out the year. Together they enjoy a simple treat, coffee/tea and time for fellowship.
- Faith, Hope, and Love is an afternoon Circle that meets at 1:30 on the second Tuesday of each month and uses the ELCA Gather Magazine. The study is written by different Pastors’ or theologians on subjects following the biblical themes of the Bible as they apply to us. We close with a simple dessert and coffee and nice conversations.
- Jubilee Circle meets September through May on the 3rd Tuesday at 6pm at the church with 2-3 members choosing to present a topic of their choice. We also meet once during the summer and again in December for social potlucks. Decorating and taking down the Christmas tree decorations is another activity we participate in.
The Fellowship Committee – This committee is the fun committee, providing opportunities for members to enjoy each other’s company. This includes, but is not limited to, campfires, coffee between services, fitness outings, excursions, Christmas Caroling, the Greater Good Bowling League, et. al.

Greater Good Bowling League
Local area non-profits put together four-person teams to bowl in a league format. The prize fund for the bowling is given away to the teams’ designated charities at the end of the season banquet. Bowling is Sunday evening.

Bike, Hike, Ski
Reflecting our natural surroundings, this group gets together to recreate and the mode depends upon the season.

Table Talk
Table Talk gathers every month to discuss a range of topics involving the intersection of faith and life either meeting at a local restaurant or around a potluck.
