Thank you for your financial support this past Lenten season with the Malawi Well Project. Donations of approximately $12, 500 were received and will be sent to the Northwest Synod Office. The Northwest Wisconsin Synod continues to support the “Water Is Life” initiative for the people of Malawi.
Outreach has designated the remaining Sundays in April (12th, 19th, 26th) to go toward Wednesday Night Suppers. Donations collected in the wicker basket, located in the narthex, will be used for various supplies/food to help Wednesday Night Supper groups.
First Lutheran Church in Hayward, WI is growing and seeking a passionate and creative CYF Coordinator. This role focuses on partnership with existing congregational ministries to foster faith formation through engaging outreach activities and also build intergenerational relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth leadership, excellent organizational skills, and grounding in ELCA Lutheran theology.
