Introducing Sarah Adair, First Lutheran’s Organist/Pianist:
From a young age I have been surrounded by music. I am a 3rd generation organist/pianist, however my primary instrument is violin. I played in the University of St. Thomas orchestra as principal 2nd violin and was concertmaster of my high school orchestra for 3 years. I had the privilege of playing in MN All State Orchestra 2013 and 2014, as well as attending Lutheran Summer Music in Decorah, Iowa for 2 summers, where I was introduced to studying organ pedals.
Most recently I have been performing at ELIM Lutheran in Robbinsdale MN since 2021 as a cantor, violinist, pianist and organist; at Pilgrim Lutheran in St. Paul during my college years (2015-2019) as an alto Choral Scholar; and at Trinity Lutheran in Staples MN as an organist from 2012-2015.
Although I have been playing a variety of music gigs since the age of 15, I have pursued a career in healthcare. My bachelors degree is in Business Administration and Management from the University of St. Thomas and currently am in my Masters of Public Health at UW Eau Claire. I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, reading and spending time with my husband Dylan and 3 children, Rebel, Freya and Jameson and our dog Ellie.
I am looking forward to serving First Lutheran and getting to know the community!
